OUR MISSION
Affirmation Darling began during a time when my husband and I were trying to stay alive.
We were navigating housing instability, deep mental health struggles, and the kind of emotional trauma that quietly erodes your sense of identity. The kind that makes you question your worth, your future, and whether you belong in the world at all.
There were moments when suicidal thoughts felt close. We didn’t know yet how to explain what we were experiencing. We only knew that our minds had become a dangerous place, and that something had to change there first.
Affirmations became a way to interrupt the spiral. A way to remind ourselves, again and again, that thoughts are powerful, and that self-belief isn’t something you either have or don’t have. It’s something you practice, especially when everything else feels unstable.
Affirmation Darling was created out of that desperation. Not to inspire, but to help us stay. What started as a personal lifeline slowly became something we realized others might need too.
Our mission is to create affirmation tools that support people through mental health struggles, limiting beliefs, and moments when their sense of self feels under attack. These are tools for survival, grounding, and rebuilding. Not perfection. Not positivity. Just something solid to return to when things feel heavy.
